At HeyBeads we acquire vintage deadstock and lightly loved quality craft supplies
to provide you with a unique and luxurious crafting experience.
Because we choose only vintage, antique, or deadstock beads you are guaranteed to get unique items, in a curated collection you won't find anywhere else. We believe that your vision isn’t mass marketed, so your materials shouldn’t be either! Living in beautiful Vermont has given us a deep love of the land and an earnest desire to reduce our footprint here during our time on earth.
Slowing the factory to landfill pipeline is a priority for us
The ethical as well as physical implications motivate us to find deadstock and items found thrifting and from estate sales, etc. This way we save them from a landfill and slow the demand for new products.
Every box is hand packed in our home office. We creatively reuse containers for packing and re-use as much of our shipping supplies as possible.
Packages ship via First Class USPS on the 21st of every month. Each box provides loads of inspiration, with themed beads lovingly packed in shipping materials that are often reusable. A QR code in your package leads to a list describing your beads and a video of us talking about where they came from.
We are building a buisness that we would want to shop from!
We have strong social justice mindsets, and try to embody these ideals in the products we sell, the way we package them, and how we deliver them to you. This includes testing all ideas and materials before we send them to you.
