Vintage Cherry Brand Sunshine Yellow Dimpled Glass Beads
These precious bits of sunshine were covered in grime in a warehouse that also housed heavy equipment. In this cold and drafty hangar, we found a whole rack of Japanese glass beads, in various colors and sizes and there were dated Japanese newspapers to easily date them for us!
These beads were made by Cherry Brand for the Miriam Haskell Jewelry Company in the 1950s. They are so bright and cheery! The dimples make them dance!
Each one is slightly different but they are around 12mm and mostly round.
